The individual we are looking for is someone who is not only experienced in the co-ordinating of transport and labour, but who is also driven and motivated. You will be responsible for management and co-ordination of all the in field crews and the scheduling regarding newly won jobs or deliveries.
Responsibilities of this role include:
- Scheduling vehicles and labour for day to day activities within budget
- Scheduling and co-ordination of workloads in advance
- Preparing run sheets for following day
- Managing in field crews
- Arranging access inspections where necessary
- Monitoring vehicle condition and scheduling maintenance accordingly
In order to be successful in this role it is essential that you can demonstrate:
- Efficient computer skills
- Effective communication to external and internal stakeholders of the company
- Transport, Logistics, Removalist or equivalent scheduling experience
- Effective supervision of staff
- Excellence in customer service with clients
- A good knowledge of OH&S compliance and a history of positive involvement
- Good organisation and time management skills
- Ability to think on your feet and solve problems
- A great sense of humor and a Can Do attitude
