Important Information To Consider When Moving To New Zealand

- Singapore Declaration of Facts
- Singapore Exemption Declaration
- Singapore Employment Pass or Letter of Approval
- Copy of the photo page of your passport
Notes:
Used Household goods and personal effects (Non-Singaporean)
The owner of the goods doesn’t need to be in Singapore to clear goods if all paperwork is completed in advance with a copy of the passport.
The shipment can be cleared without an employment pass if the shipper is willing to pass GST. GST if applicable is 7% of the shipper-declared value of the goods (Used value – Not insured value)

Firearms (including air rifles and guns), drugs and narcotics, radio transmitters, pornography, and martial arts weapons of any kind. Prohibited. Import of illicit drugs is subject to imprisonment and death penalty.
Prescription drugs are permitted with doctor’s certificates.
Video Tapes/DVDs. Detailed List of all titles required. Importation is allowed but subject to USD 4.00 per tape screening cost. Children’s DVDS generally passed over for screening.
Prohibited Items: Chewing gum, chewing tobacco, shisha, drugs, pistol-shaped lighters, endangered species, firecrackers, obscene material, reproduction of copyrighted publications, seditious and treasonable materials.
There may also be additional documentation that you will be required to provide at the destination to achieve duty-free entry for your shipment. Whilst you are not required to provide this documentation to us at this time, please ensure you read and fully understand the requirements.
